Position: Office Engineer Job Type: Full Time – Entry Level Engineering / Construction Position Location: San Diego, California Job Description: To assist in the management, bidding and controlling of projects throughout San Diego County in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures. Individual will perform quantity take-offs including mass grading, cross sections, and area calculations, study project plans and specifications, develop construction schedules, maintain project files, communicate with subcontractors, supervisors and field personnel, track of project costs and productions, prepare traffic control plans for projects, track quantities, build monthly pay estimates to maintain cash flow and deliver bids for projects. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred with excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is required as well as the ability to learn company software. Individual must have exceptional ability to follow through, be a self-starter, be an innovative team player and be detail oriented. Must have exceptional organizational skills and a take-charge attitude, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
